About Me
creator of magic

I'm Danielle, the heart and hands behind Gold Coast Photography.
As a Long Island family photographer, I have the joy of capturing the kind of everyday magic that slips by too quickly—first kicks, sleepy newborn sighs, gummy grins, and the gentle chaos of family life. Based in beautiful Manhasset, NY, I create timeless images that hold space for all the little moments that mean the most.
Photography found me through my family. After becoming an aunt to a beautiful niece, I realized how fleeting these early chapters truly are. That realization became the foundation of my work: creating honest, artful portraits that allow families to hold on to what matters most.
At my cozy studio in Manhasset, NY, I specialize in maternity, newborn, and family photography sessions that are both relaxed and refined. Whether it's a luxurious family portrait, a playful cake smash, or a quiet newborn session, each frame is crafted with care to reflect the beauty and connection unique to your family.
Families come to Gold Coast Photography not just for luxury studio portraits on Long Island, but for an experience that's patient, personal, and full of heart. My goal is to make you feel seen and celebrated, so when you look back, you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.
Because at the end of the day, it’s about more than a picture. It’s about capturing everyday magic in every frame.
Frequently Asked Questions
More About What We Do
If I am interested in maternity photos, when is the best time to take them?
Our Maternity sessions come as an add-on to any newborn session booking or baby package. We love taking them anytime after 6 months. You should be over the worst of any morning sickness and should have more energy! Our Maternity sessions include hair and makeup for mom as well as a few drinks for Dad.
How do I book a session?
Please use Contact Us to inquire about booking. Once we've established that we're a good fit, your preferences and dates, we'll give you a link to our Booking page on this site where you can go ahead and book. We will take a deposit upfront and then leave you the choice to pay on our website or in person the day of the session.
When is the best time to take newborn photos?
The normal answer is anytime 7-14 days. However, if for any reason you have a preemie or don't feel comfortable having someone in your home, we can do up to 21 days and still get beautiful shots!
Even if you miss that window, starting baby photos at 30+ days old will still give you the opportunity to capture their little details.
