At least one client-closet outfit is included in every maternity session. Before your visit, I’ll put together a style board with five or six gown options, chosen for your colors, setting and fit. You’ll select your favorites, and we’ll coordinate clothing for anyone joining you.
Once you’re in front of the camera, I’ll explain the posing and small adjustments. There’s room to move, pause, and settle into the photographs.

You don’t need to feel at home in front of a camera to belong in these photographs. We’ll choose clothing you feel good in, and I’ll show you where to place your hands and how to turn. Later, we’ll make room for your baby’s tiny details and the first portraits of you together.

With newborn Premier
Receive a triptych of three 8×10 canvases in place of the newborn session’s two bonus digital photographs. Your full edited newborn gallery, two bonus maternity photographs and matching pair of 8×10 prints are included.

What does a session cost, and what’s included?
Maternity collections begin at $350. The Mini includes six fully hand-edited photographs and one client-closet outfit. The Signature is $500 and includes 12 fully hand-edited photographs, including one composite, two client-closet outfits and a custom color guide.
You choose your photographs from a proofing gallery. For more looks, Premier and additional options, ask about your session.
Can I book maternity and newborn portraits together?
Yes. Reserve both sessions through the From Bump to Baby offer and receive two additional digital photographs from each session, plus one 8×10 portrait from each, presented as a matching pair. These are additions to your chosen collections at their regular prices. With newborn Premier, a triptych of three 8×10 canvases replaces the two bonus newborn digital photographs; the maternity extras and matching print pair remain included. When should I book, and when should my session take place?
You’re welcome to inquire as soon as you find out you’re expecting. Booking during your second trimester is also welcome. Sessions usually take place between 26 and 36 weeks, with the date chosen around your health, comfort and how your pregnancy is progressing.
Do I need to buy clothing?
No gown purchase is needed. At least one gown rental is included, and the studio wardrobe includes maternity and mommy-and-me options. We can discuss fit and coordinate clothing for partners and children before your session.

Can my partner and children participate?
Yes. Solo portraits and photographs with your partner or children are available in every maternity session. Tell Danielle who will join you when you inquire so clothing and portraits can be planned together.
How many looks are included?
The Mini includes one client-closet outfit. Signature includes two, and Premier offers up to five looks from the client closet.
What if I’m uncomfortable or need to change plans?
We’ll adjust the posing and take breaks around how you feel. If you’re unwell or your circumstances change, you can reschedule. Contact Danielle so you can choose a new date together.
How do I choose my photographs, and when will I receive them?
Your proofing gallery is usually ready within two weeks of your session. You’ll have one week to choose the photographs in your collection. Once you submit your selections, allow another two weeks for hand-editing and delivery of your finished digital photographs.
Can I order an album or photographs for my home?
Handcrafted albums, matted prints and custom wall art are available. Ask about product options, sizes and pricing when planning your session. Complimentary rush delivery is available for baby shower products and other products you order. Share your event date when planning so Danielle can coordinate delivery.
Is professional makeup available?
Hair and makeup are included in the maternity Premier collection. Professional makeup is available separately through Danielle’s recommended artist for Mini and Signature. Ask about availability when planning your session.
Where is the maternity studio?
Maternity sessions take place at Gold Coast Photography’s studio in Manhasset, New York, serving families across Long Island.
Can I choose additional photographs?
Yes. Additional hand-edited photographs are one for $30, five for $125 or ten for $200. Choose any additions when selecting your favorites.
