There’s something incredibly special about the one-year mark. Your baby has grown, changed, and brought joy into every corner of your life—and now it’s time to celebrate that first year. As an internationally published Long Island cake smash photographer, I’ve crafted these sessions to be more than just a photo op. They’re a joyful, stress-free experience designed to honor your baby’s personality, your family’s style, and the memories you want to hold onto forever.

Tailored to You, Designed by Me
Every cake smash session is custom designed. I don’t reuse themes or backdrops—each set is built from the ground up based on your preferences, your baby’s personality, and your vision. From elegant florals to whimsical themes (like a LoveShackFancy-inspired floral garden or a basketball backdrop celebrating baby Leo), I create a one-of-a-kind set just for your session.
Once we finalize the theme and package, I’ll take care of everything: the cake, the outfit, the design elements, and even a coordinated towel for cleanup. You simply show up with your birthday baby and maybe some wipes just in case.
A Stress-Free, Guided Experience
Most parents worry about their baby cooperating or not smiling on cue. That’s where I come in. With gentle posing, age-appropriate pacing, and a playful approach to getting natural expressions, these sessions are fully guided from start to finish. Your baby leads the way and I follow their energy while still capturing every key moment.
We begin with classic portraits before introducing the cake. Then, depending on package, we end with a “splash” segment complete with a mini bath for cleanup and more giggles. The result is a mix of timeless, joyful images that reflect every part of their one-year personality.
What Makes This a Luxury Cake Smash?
What sets my sessions apart is the attention to detail and the fully customized experience. You won’t find cookie-cutter props or standard backdrops here. Everything is designed specifically for your baby and after the session, you even get to take home all the handcrafted cutouts and props.
These sessions are styled, lit, and edited with a fine art approach. That means consistent tones, flattering light, and heirloom-quality final images. Many families choose to display their portraits on a beautiful party board at the birthday celebration itself—one of the many options available when you book.
When to Book Your Cake Smash
Most families schedule their session for about 4-6 weeks before baby’s first birthday, especially if you want images ready in time for a party. I recommend reaching out at least two months in advance to ensure design time and calendar availability.

What to Wear & Bring
All outfits are included with your session, but you're welcome to bring a backup look or a special family heirloom. I offer a curated wardrobe for babies and plenty of design guidance to keep the entire experience cohesive and elevated. Don’t worry about cleanup—I’ve got you covered with wipes, towels, and a mini bathtub if you opt for the splash session.
