Everything You Need to Know About My Fall Mini Sessions

ree

There’s something special about autumn on Long Island. The light softens. The colors glow. And for many families, it’s the perfect time to step in front of the camera before the holiday rush begins.

If you’ve been thinking about fall portraits, I created these Autumn Mini Sessions with you in mind. They’re short, sweet, and designed to give you timeless, frame-worthy images that still feel like you.

A mini session is a shorter version of my full family session, styled and timed just right for little ones. Sessions are held on specific dates and feature a pre-selected location with beautiful natural light and subtle fall color. All the little details are taken care of, you just show up and enjoy the moment.

Each mini session includes:

Who Are Mini Sessions Best For?

These sessions are perfect for:

ree
  • Young families looking for a quick, low-stress update

  • Parents who want holiday card photos

  • Mamas who want to be in the frame for once

  • Clients returning for their second or third session of the year

  • If you're dreaming of extended family portraits or lots of outfit changes, a full session may be a better fit. I’m always happy to talk through the options.

What Should We Wear?

Don’t worry, styling support is included.

After booking, you’ll receive my Fall Mini Session Style Guide to help you choose coordinated, elevated outfits that photograph beautifully. I also share a curated Pinterest board of outfit inspiration with links and color palettes to make getting dressed simple and fun.

Stick to warm neutrals, cozy textures, and timeless accessories and always reach out if you need help. I love to make it easy.

What If the Weather Doesn’t Cooperate?

I always build in a rain date just in case. If the weather turns too wet or too cold, I’ll be in touch to reschedule your session to the backup day.

Because the years go fast—and autumn only lasts so long. Mini sessions are a beautiful way to pause, gather your people close, and capture this chapter before it changes again.

Every year, I photograph families who say, “We almost didn’t do this... and now I’m so glad we did.”

Ready to Book?

Spots are limited and often fill quickly. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
